The forged and blasted 6061 aluminum gives a high strength and fatigue resistance at a reasonable weight.
The four bolt bar clamp holds bar securely in position. and the interlocking U-Shaped Handlebar Faceplate eliminates "stress risers" which could cause your bar to bend or break.
This is particularly important for carbon bar users.
The machined logo on bar clamp gives this value oriented stem a high end look.
